supporting与supportive的区别

support 和supporting的区别
support,可作动词也可作名词，意思是支持。例如：Pleasesupportme。请支持我。Thankstoyoursupport，谢谢你的支持。
supporting，support的动名词形式。
supporting和supportive的区别
首先一大区别是前者不仅可以做形容词，还是动词时态和动名词；后者只是形容词。
都是作为形容词时，我认为有以下区别。
supporting一般表示在功能上起支撑作用，比如supportingbeam承重梁supportingcast配角们。
supportive通常表示在精神上/情绪上支持，比如supportivefamily表示支持的家人们。
