look forward的用法
老师的意思是lookforward如果当作look+forward表示向前看的话就接todo,意思是向前方看来做什么事情。不过说实在的我还真没见过谁这么用过，即使去google搜。一般常见的是第二种用法，lookforwardtosth./doing(sth.)，表示期盼着、期待着某件事情或做某件事情，属于固定搭配，lookforwardto必须一起用。
look forward to 与 looking forward to有什么区别
两者其实区别不大,你如果一定要鸡蛋里挑骨头,则有这样的解释：
1、从语气上来说,-ing
形式比较personal
和friendly,和
look
forward
to...相比较少为正式,如果你要表示礼貌而有亲和力则用looking
forward
to...,look
forward
to在非常正式严谨的business场合比较适用.

lookforwardto后面要接doingsth.才正确。
forward的用法如下：
1、forward的基本意思是“向前，前进”，指在运动的过程中呈现出向前的趋势，多用来修饰动态动词。
2、forward在英式英语中有时也可写成forwards，二者并无意义上的差别，只是后者只能用于副词，而前者则还可用于形容词和动词。
3、forward可用于lookforwardto结构，to用作介词，其后只能接名词或动名词，不可接动词原形。
